Raynald Aeschlimann is the President and CEO of Omega Ltd., a company of The Swatch Group. Raynald began his career in Omega in 1996 as a Sales and Marketing Project Manager. He served as the Brand Manager of Omega and Blancpain Spain in 2000 before becoming the Vice President and International Director of Sales, Retail, and Distribution in 2001. Raynald joins me today to discuss the pure democracy of our most precious commodity: time. You’ll hear about his passion for mechanical watches and the artistry involved in timekeeping. He explains how leadership can be learned, describes his leadership style, and discusses the value of trust. You’ll also learn about the importance of balancing emotion and rationality as well as what makes time precious.

“It is an honor to measure the passing of time. As time ticks, it witnesses the evolution of your life—this is why time is precious.”

Spaceship Not Required

I’m Kathy Sullivan, the only person to have walked in space and gone to the deepest point in the ocean.

I’m an explorer, and that doesn’t always have to involve going to some remote or exotic place. It simply requires a commitment to put curiosity into action.

In this podcast, you can explore, reflecting on lessons learned from life so far and from my brilliant and ever-inquisitive guests. We explore together in this very moment from right where you are… spaceship not required.
